Free Lessons And Tips Online To Help You With All Aspects Of Your Game
Maybe you're an experienced player who's got into a rut and would like to improve your game? Maybe you're a new player who hasn't quite figured out how to translate theory into practice? Lessons are expensive and there is only so much information you can absorb in an hour. After all, you don't take a notebook along and take down every word the pro says!
If you're after easy-to-absorb advice on how to improve golf swing and all other aspects of your golf game, you've come to the right place! All of the information on this site is free for you to read and digest in your own time.
I understand how there is nothing more irritating than not being able to hit golf shots the way they should be hit. Especially when you know all the theory! In fact, I sometimes wonder how anybody can possible hit a tiny ball with a long stick. And not only hit it, but shape a shot! It seems inconceivable, yet we keep trying and trying.
Padraig Harrington spent the best part of 2009 adjusting a tiny movement to improve golf swing. This adjustment was the subject of many debates. Yet his swing already looks pretty much perfect! And what I hear about him in 2010, he still isn't finished changing his swing...
The only way we can learn to swing a club and connect with a ball is by using bio-feedback. By that I mean that we adjust our movement a tiny bit and if it works, we continue using the same movement. We create a groove for ourselves and commit the motion to our muscle memory.
On the downside, once we've got into the wrong groove, we find it very hard to get out of it, without upsetting our whole game. If it is that hard for the pros, how do we mere mortals manage to analyse and improve our game? Basically, we use small concise exercises that concentrate on one tiny aspect of our game - drills. Throughout my site, you will find lots of exercises and drills to help you with every aspect of your game!
Even more important than technical skill is our mental attitude. How often did you go out after having played beautifully the day before, and lost it on the first hole? Good for you if you managed to recover, but how often does one bad hole turn into a series of bad holes because we keep beating ourselves up over every little mistake? At the end of the day, we don't play our opponent but ourselves on the golf course. Mental fortitude and self control are probably the most important attributes of a successful golfer. One way of learning how to be relaxed and keeping our cool is by developing routines, both physical and mental.
I really hope that you can pick up lots of tips and tricks that will help you in your journey towards becoming the best golfer you can be! My free e-books and e-courses can really give you an edge over your friends, so please feel free to sign up.
